Objectives of the Position         

• End-to-end planning accountability for both merchandise and OMP products of responsible portfolio to balance regional supply / demand
• Proactive stakeholder engagement incl. business mgmt., operation, and functional units to maximize Speed to Market and cash (inventory) efficiency
• Represent Asia supply chain in global material flow steering for responsible portfolio

Responsibilities 

Sales & Operation planning for OMP and merchandise products:

• Perform end-to-end planning from demand and rough-cut planning to detail production scheduling of responsible OMP product portfolio to fulfill customers demand for Asia Pacific region.
• Prepare and facilitate regional site S&OP meeting
• Develop and implement production scheduling strategy based on regional business dynamics; monitor material allocation and call for shortage allocation
• Make RM planning and ensure RM availability according to production schedule
• Make replenishment planning for RDC/LDC and oversees country execution of replenishment plan
• Monitor and adjust replenishment planning in collaboration with supply region based on Asia/global market dynamics
• Manage CMF (co-manufacturer) supply demand balance as required by business needs
• Develop and implement mitigation strategies for planned / unplanned supply disruptions
• Act as supply chain contact for operations (e.g. dedicated ISO tank fleet mgmt., supply chain NCMs) for the responsible portfolio
• Represent Asia supply chain in global material flow steering for designated products

Inventory management:

• Develop and implement inventory strategy to meet business needs under consideration of business specific service levels and inventory targets
• Design and run regional/local distribution network for responsible product portfolio
• Manage slow moving, non-moving stock for responsible product portfolio

Supply Chain Projects:

• Identify opportunities for supply chain optimization to improve speed to market and cost / cash efficiency
• Run planning digitalization and AI projects
• Implement regional / global SC excellence projects upon request

Requirements 

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or equivalent experience
• Master of Business Administration, APICS or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification will be an advantage.  

Working Experience

• Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in Business Management, Product management, Supply Chain, or Logistics Management (preferably in chemical industry). 

Technical & Professional Knowledge

• Knowledge in SAP and Business Warehouse, Financial P&L, Supply Chain planning operations
• Highly analytical, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial with excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Intermediate to advanced expertise in at least one of the following technologies: MS Power BI, Robotic Process Automation scripting, Process Mining, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
