What You’ll Be Doing

As an EHS Intern, you will work closely with our EHS Specialist and support various activities, including:

• Support Responsible Care (RC) audit preparation and other EHS-related activities.
• Assist in maintaining and updating EHS documents, including policies, procedures and Work Instructions (WI).
• Support EHS induction training and safety awareness activities.
• Assist in coordinating factory safety inspections with internal teams and external parties.
• Support the coordination of environmental and occupational health assessments, such as noise, pollution and health assessments.
• Participate in workplace EHS risk assessments and follow up on improvement actions.
• Support accident and incident investigations and follow up on corrective actions with relevant departments.
• Help promote good EHS and safety practices among shopfloor employees.
• Gain exposure to regulatory requirements, corporate EHS standards and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Good understanding of the fundamentals of occupational safety.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work and communicate with employees at different levels.
• Organized, proactive and willing to learn.
• Good time-management skills.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement or statistical techniques would be an added advantage.
