Supervisor, Mechanical Engineering & Maintenance











Objectives of the Position

  • Manage and use limited mechanical maintenance resources effectively such as internal manpower, external contractors and maintenance cost which are approved/provided by company.
  • Set-up and execute necessary mechanical engineering and maintenance activities. To ensure and keep company's assets and production equipment running in a good/reliable condition.
  • Support company and production needs.


Main Tasks

  • Act as a gatekeeper to handle and manage maintenance requests at production site. Ensure that efficient quality of work and cost-effective repair and maintenance services are provided to support production needs
  • Collaborate with indirect procurement function for technical evaluation of external engineering resources
  • Manage and supervise internal manpower and external contractors for maintenance and projects activities under company EHS regulation
  • Lead and implement mechanical engineering activities for investment projects
  • Manage and control the availability of mechanical equipment's spare parts
  • Implement improved maintenance by focusing on preventive and predictive maintenance rather than on reactive maintenance



  • Candidates possess bachelor's degree or above qualifications, major in Mechanical Engineering or relevant disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years of Mechanical/Maintenance experience in Chemical/Petrochemical industry is necessary
  • Minimum 5 years of practical experience in planning/managing/implementing investment projects within chemical industry is a plus
  • Basic command of English is necessary
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills especially on Word, Excel, and Power Point are necessary
  • Familiar with SAP and/or AutoCAD is a plus
