Objectives

This position will focus on Optimization of plant internal processes and procedures with main tasks are as follows:

• Responsible for production (steering, planning and coordination)
• Personnel responsibility for rotating shift and day shift
• Responsible for supply management
• Ensuring EHSQ compliance in the plant
• Responsible for occupational safety
• Responsible for danger prevention planning

Main Areas of Responsibilities

• Responsible for implementation of production targets
• Responsible for detailed production planning
• Responsible for planning production related tasks on shift
• Responsible for preparation of production assets for implementing technical measures, incl. release of approvals
• Responsible for coordination and alignment with other functions (supply chain, logistics etc.) and possibly external service providers
• Securing operational conditions for equipment availability (e.g. freeze protection list)
• Implementation responsibility for all aspects concerning occupational safety
  • Monitoring and ensuring adherence to rules and regulations
  • Responsible for implementation of risk assessments according to labor protection laws and hazardous materials regulations
  • Responsible for administering plant permit system
  • Responsible for executing safety instructions
  • Responsible for investigating SHE incidents and implementation of preventive or corrective measures (focus accidents)
• Collaboration in creating safety and environment-related protection concepts (SHE assessments, inquiries into old assets, …)
• Quality assurance
  • Responsible for compliance with product specifications
  • In-process analytics
  • Responsible for root cause analysis in case of quality deviations and implementation of preventive resp. corrective measure
• Responsible for defining, recording, and controlling production-related KPIs (customer satisfaction, SHE performance)
• Responsible for supply management
• Initiation of measures in case of short-term requirement changes by customers
• Initiation of countermeasures in case of unplanned asset states (e.g. obstruction, corrosion, loss of catalytic effect…)
• Collaboration in the plant modification process
• Collaboration in creating innovations
• Responsible for creating and updating operational procedures and for compliance with those procedures
• Responsible for creating and maintaining alarm plans, alarm regulations and safety operating instructions for alarm situations
• Collaboration in continuous improvement processes
• Responsible as SIMT during emergency situation+
• Responsible for executing of Generations@Work processes in the plant

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical Engineering is preferred)
• Min. 8 years of experience in chemical manufacturing, especially in process management
