Objectives of the Position

 

The Regional Integrated Facilities Manager (IFM) oversees end‑to‑end Integrated Facilities Management operations in South East Asia. This role ensures consistent service delivery, compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across both hard and soft facility management (FM) services. The manager acts as the regional point of accountability for performance, governance, stakeholder management, and commercial outcomes.

 

Responsibilities

 

1. Regional Operations Management

  • Lead and manage IFM service delivery across multiple countries/sites.
  • Ensure consistent execution of Hard FM, Soft FM, EHS, security, workspace, and vendor management.
  • Implement standardized IFM processes, SOPs, and service delivery frameworks.
  • Oversee asset management, preventive maintenance, reliability engineering, and life-cycle planning.
  • Monitor operational risks and ensure business continuity readiness.

2. Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure all sites meet statutory, regulatory, and internal compliance requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits, site inspections, and compliance reviews.
  • Lead HSE culture and ensure adherence to global standards.
  • Report performance, risks, and escalations through regional governance channels.

3. Performance & Service Excellence

  • Drive KPI/SLA achievement across the regional portfolio.
  • Introduce continuous improvement, lean FM, and efficiency programs.
  • Implement CAFM/CMMS governance, data accuracy, and performance analytics.
  • Use benchmarking and best practices to elevate service quality.

4. Financial & Commercial Management

  • Manage regional FM budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
  • Manage contract management, procurement strategy, and vendor governance.
  • Track savings, cost avoidance, and financial performance.
  • Support tendering, sourcing, and negotiation for regional FM contracts.

5. Stakeholder & Client Management

  • Serve as the primary FM point of contact for regional leadership.
  • Build strong relationships with country managers, landlords, vendors, and functional teams.
  • Manage escalations and drive positive workplace experience outcomes.
  • Support strategic projects, expansions, and transitions.

6. People Leadership

  • Lead and mentor country-level FM teams and site leads.
  • Drive capability building, succession planning, and talent development.
  • Promote engagement, collaboration, and high-performance culture.

 

Requirements

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Building Services, or related field.

Experience

  • 5–7 years in Facilities Management, with at least 3–5 years in a regional or multi-country leadership role.
  • Strong background in both Hard FM and Soft FM.
  • Knowledge in EHS.
  • Experience with large portfolios in corporate offices environment.
  • Proven ability in financial management, commercial negotiation, and vendor governance.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management across senior executive levels.
  • Data-driven, analytical, and proficient in CAFM/CMMS systems.
  • Ability to work in complex, culturally diverse environments.
  • Strong project management and transition management capability.
