About the Role |
The Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst executes and analyzes the accounting of accounts-receivable processes in accordance with established service-level agreements. The role controls closing and core activities, resolves customer-account requests, coordinates with Collections and other accounting teams, supports audits and internal controls, prepares year-end footnotes and analytics, and implements process improvements and automation.

Key Responsibilities |
• Execute and control accounts-receivable closing activities.
• Execute and control core activities, including cash application, customer refunds, and payment-term extensions in accordance with applicable guidelines.
• Resolve ad hoc requests related to customer accounts.
• Act as the point of contact for Collections and other accounting areas.
• Participate in and coordinate activities related to medium- and large-scale projects.
• Analyze, prepare, and document external audits and internal controls, and implement changes that improve process efficiency.
• Prepare, complete, and analyze year-end financial-statement footnotes and related analytics.
• Implement process improvements and automation, including Autobank filters, SmartEye, reporting, and payment-application enhancements.

Minimum Qualifications |
• Education: Professional qualification in Finance (e.g. B com, CA, CPA, etc.) or MBA or Master degree in finance / Accounting or related disciplines.
• Work Experience: 8-12 years of experience in administrative, accounting, accounts-receivable, or related finance activities.
• Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounts receivable, closing activities, cash application, customer refunds, payment-term extensions, customer-account analysis, audits, internal controls, year-end footnotes, and analytics.
• Decision-Making: Processes and actions are predefined in accordance with applicable procedures and guidelines.
• Leadership: No formal leadership experience is required.
• Project Experience: Experience participating in or coordinating medium- and large-scale projects is preferred.
• Core Skills: Advanced effective communication, analytical thinking, attention to detail, critical thinking, teamwork, customer focus, organization, and process-improvement orientation.

Technical Skills |
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced working knowledge of SAP.
• Advanced English, Portuguese, and/or Spanish proficiency is required according to the region supported.
• Knowledge of accounts-receivable closing, cash application, customer refunds, and payment-term extension processes.
• Experience with Autobank, SmartEye, reporting tools, or comparable automation solutions is preferred.
• Experience preparing audit documentation, internal-control evidence, year-end footnotes, and analytics.
• Experience in a shared services, multinational, or GCC environment is preferred.
