Main responsibilities
Site HR Leadership & Business Partnership
- Act as the primary HR partner for Bangpakong and Rayong site, translating business requirements into practical people solutions aligned with company policies and local law.
- Advise site management and business leaders on workforce planning, organization changes, employee relations, performance matters, staffing, development, and employee exits.
- Monitor headcount, employee movements, turnover, and organization data to support workforce planning, succession, recruitment, and employee development decisions.
- Review site HR practices, procedures, and work instructions, and recommend improvements based on business needs, market practices, and regulatory developments.
Employee Relations, Labor Relations and Workforce Advisory & Compliance
- Serve as the primary HR focal point for employee relations and workforce advisory matters at the site.
- Provide guidance to leaders and employees on workplace practices, employee concerns, performance management, organizational changes, and policy application.
- Facilitate fair, consistent, and compliant resolution of people-related matters while balancing employee experience, business requirements, and legal considerations.
- Support workforce transitions, organizational effectiveness, and change initiatives through proactive consultation and risk management.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and governance standards to ensure regulatory compliance and organizational integrity.
- Collaborate with HR Management, Legal, and business leaders on complex workforce matters and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage day-to-day employee relations matters for the assigned site and legal entity scope.
- Plan and implement employee communication and engagement activities, including employee surveys, communication meetings, and site initiatives that promote constructive dialogue.
Legal Entity Accountability & Authority Interaction
- Act as the HR owner for labor-related matters at site and legal entity level within the assigned scope.
- Engage with relevant local authorities on operational HR matters and coordinate with specialist functions for topics involving labor, social security, tax, immigration, permits, or other regulatory requirements.
- Support government inspections, audits, and regulatory inquiries through accurate documentation, clear ownership, and timely responses.
- Monitor and support compliance with applicable national, provincial, municipal, district, and industrial-estate requirements affecting employment and site operations.
- Build constructive working relationships with government offices, external parties, industrial-estate representatives, and neighboring organizations where required for site operations.
Core Site HR Operations
- Coordinate site recruitment, onboarding, employee orientation, and workforce-provider or outsourcing activities.
- Coordinate training delivery and records and work with line managers to monitor on-the-job training plans and completion.
- Administer site performance-management activities, including communications, documentation, and cycle readiness.
- Coordinate employee welfare and benefits administration at site level and facilitate employee support in line with company processes.
- Maintain appropriate site HR records and provide accurate data and inputs to HR processes, audits, and management reporting.
People Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead, coach, and develop assigned team members and service-provider resources, setting clear priorities and performance expectations.
- Collaborate across HR, Legal, EHS, site operations, finance, and business functions to deliver coordinated solutions.
- Handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism, sound judgment, appropriate escalation, and respect for all parties.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in employee relations, labor relations, site HR, or an HR generalist role within the manufacturing or chemical industry.
- Strong knowledge of Thai labor law, employment regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience in employee relations, labor relations, and workforce advisory.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive workforce issues and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments with both blue-collar and white-collar employees.
- Experience supporting multiple sites or legal entities is an advantage.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications required by local regulations.
