About The Role 

• Located in BCCS lab Jinshan.
• Afternoon to night shift to handle the alkoxylation 5L alkox reactor, including materials treatment, reactor DCS operation, reactor cleaning and maintenance
• Be responsible for execution and optimization of synthesis in local and regional innovation development projects
• Safety and lab cleaning for responsible lab / reactor / control room area 

How You Will Do It 

• Pass the certification exam of authority for alkoxylation reactor operation.
• Pass the internal certification exam of EM research for alkoxylation reactor operation. Need to be expertise on reactor PID, setting, DCS system and reaction system.
• Project Support
  • Execute local and regional innovation synthesis projects based on alkox surfactants
  • Route cause analysis of chemical reactions
  • Summary of results and supporting materials
  • Key interfaces: AT/TS and development teams G-EMH/RA and G-EMI/AT
  • Analysis e.g. OHV / CP / color and viscosity
• Safety coordination
  • Comply with regulations concerning EHS according to BCCS rules and BASF standards according to local given requirements
  • Prepare HIRA and MOC together before lab experiments
  • Act as safety coordinator when assigned

What We Look For 

• Education: 3 year college education or Bachelor on chemistry/industrial & applied chemistry/physical chemistry or related areas.
• Working Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in relevant working experience in synthesis or process development, best on alkoxylation. DCS operation experience will be plus.
• Other requirements: Good safety sense is must. Could accept long-term afternoon and night shift working mode. Ability to quickly understand synthesis and related processes, team working.
