  • To achieve continuous growth of Industrial Solutions in China

  • Collaborate with D&AT, IM to scout new markets, new application and fully fill the new business development pipeline
  • Provide timely and comprehensive market intelligence to support business growth in China.

Main Tasks
  • Drive new business development chance in China, including scouting new application, coordinating with D&AT, duplicating success to other segments via EM’s triangle approach.
  • Represent China in RBU New Business Development (NBD) Community to align regional new application launch, update local NBD activities
  • Drive new application launches and innovation process in China
  • Conduct in-depth market studies, identify unmet needs and new application opportunities by using but not limited to good understanding of technical aspects and chemicals involved, and compile marketing concepts for selected promising markets
  • Develop market intelligence database via collect market information regarding market size, industry structures, as well as market trends and continuous update on competitor activities.
  • Evaluate and prepare business plans for NBD projects/initiatives
  • Aligning with RBU NBD communities to continuously evaluate new application scouting pipeline to safeguard sustainable growth in China

  • Education: Master or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Working Experience: Minimum 3 years’ relevant working experience in sales and marketing, preferably with experience in Chemical industry
  • Other requirements:
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Quick rapport with customer decision-makers
  • Effective listening and understanding of customer needs
