As the collision repair industry continues to evolve and consolidate, Surventis is investing in strategic growth initiatives focused on Multi-Shop Operators (MSOs) and large multi-site collision repair organizations across North America. We are seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented sales professional to lead new business acquisition efforts with some of the industry's most influential organizations.
We are looking for a Strategic Business Development Manager to join our Automotive Refinish team.
The Strategic Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, qualifying, pursuing, and converting high-value collision repair organizations that align with Surventis' growth strategy. This position serves as a strategic growth leader focused primarily on new business development, enterprise opportunity creation, competitive displacement, and market expansion.
The successful candidate will develop executive-level relationships with owners, founders, CEOs, COOs, CFOs, private equity stakeholders, and senior business leaders while leading complex sales pursuits from prospecting through contract execution.
Working cross-functionally with Technical Services, Training, Marketing, Commercial Excellence, Digital Solutions, Business Development Specialists, and Distribution Partners, the Strategic Account Executive will help accelerate growth through strategic customer acquisition and long-term business partnerships.

As a Strategic Business Development Manager, you will...
- Own the acquisition of national, super-regional, and emerging multi-site collision repair organizations.
- Build a strong pipeline by identifying and prioritizing strategically aligned target accounts.
- Generate opportunities through prospecting, networking, industry engagement, and relationships with key industry stakeholders.
- Use market, customer, acquisition, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities and guide growth priorities.
- Develop pursuit strategies using customer discovery, stakeholder mapping, competitive analysis, value propositions, and conversion plans.
- Build executive relationships and understand customer priorities, challenges, growth plans, and operational goals.
- Lead complex sales pursuits from initial engagement through negotiation and contract execution, supporting profitable growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions and differentiate Surventis' value.
- Represent Surventis at industry and customer events to expand relationships and market visibility.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pursuit plans, forecasts, and stage-based opportunity tracking.
- Provide pipeline updates, forecasts, risk assessments, and growth projections with strong commercial accountability.

If you have...
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic sales, business development, enterprise sales, national account sales, or complex B2B commercial roles.
- Proven track record of building qualified pipelines and winning large, multi-location customer opportunities.
- Demonstrated success leading complex sales pursuits from prospecting through contract execution.
- Experience engaging executive-level stakeholders and influencing strategic business decisions.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen with the ability to build value-based customer business cases.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to operate independently within a remote, field-based environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex opportunities simultaneously.
- Ability to travel up to 60% throughout the United States.
- Must reside near a major metropolitan area and commercial airport.
- Valid driver's license required.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or other advanced business degree.
- Experience within the collision repair, automotive refinish, coatings, automotive aftermarket, distribution, or related industries.
- Deep understanding of the collision repair marketplace, including MSOs, consolidation trends, private equity ownership structures, distribution networks, and business performance drivers.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms, pipeline management processes, forecasting tools, and business analytics.
- Experience utilizing consultative selling, enterprise sales, strategic account planning, or value-based selling methodologies.

Pay transparency
Surventis is committed to pay transparency practices. The competitive Pay Range for this role is $155,000.00 - $185,000.00. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
