About The Role

In Surventis, we are focused on the development, production and marketing of a variety of coating solutions - from applied surface technologies to automotive paints. Working in global teams, we promote innovation, design and new applications in order to meet our partners' needs.

In this role, you will manage end-to-end procurement processes with a focus on indirect procurement especially in the field of Packaging, as well as various project activities. You will develop and implement sourcing strategies, lead negotiation tactics, and support multiple internal business partners in their daily operations to deliver our impact to the business

How You Will Do It

• Own the full procurement cycle for Indirect Procurement activities, ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Lead global and regional sourcing processes for packaging categories, including RFI, RFQ and RFP activities, commercial evaluation, negotiations, contracting and implementation.
• Independently lead and execute procurement-related projects, collaborating closely with procurement teams and internal business partners (IBPs) across the value chain.
• Demonstrate a strong interest in digital procurement technologies and Agentic AI, with the willingness to explore and adopt new tools and ways of working.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers, acting as an integral part of sourcing events.
• Drive digitalization and automation initiatives as well as optimizing procurement projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage risk, supplier relationships, and supplier development activities to ensure sustainable and reliable supply chains.
• Execute negotiations, document outcomes including contracts, outline agreements, and price lists.
• Continuously enhance your procurement expertise through active research, training, and participation in industry conferences.
• Consult and coordinate site-, plant-, or country-specific procurement needs.
• Demonstrate agility by proactively taking on additional projects and responsibilities, driving process improvements and procurement transformation to optimize buying channels and tools inside and outside of SAP.

What We Look For

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, chemistry, engineering, or a comparable field, combined with several years of professional experience in procurement, marketing, or sales. Experience in packaging is considered an advantage.
• Solid knowledge in sourcing markets related to respective fields above or similar industry as well as negotiation expertise, basic know-how in contracting with local law.
• Digital affinity and strong interest in leveraging new technologies and AI-enabled solutions in procurement.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, decision-making ability as well as flexibility to adapt quickly to changes.
• Strong communication skills in English and Chinese.
• Self-motivated and outstanding team spirit.
