About The Role

Join our company as a key expert in customs classification of chemical products. In this role, you will ensure compliance with customs regulations and support efficient processes across Asia Pacific while being connected to a global community.

 

How You Will Do It 

• Act as the primary contact for customs classification requests in the Asia Pacific region.
• Perform accurate and timely customs classification for products, raw materials, and merchandise according to local and international regulations.
• Monitor and analyze customs regulations in China and Asia Pacific; implement compliant processes proactively.
• Support process improvements with a focus on simplification and digitalization.
• Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Sales, and Procurement teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Participate in global customs classification communities and share best practices.
• Additional tasks may include handling Dangerous Goods requests, packaging consulting and article release for the Asia Pacific region.

 

What We Look For 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• Proven experience in customs classification of chemical products in China; knowledge of other Asian countries is a plus.
• Several years of experience in chemical industry or related.
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Familiarity with SAP GTS; knowledge of SAP EHS and other modules (TM, OTC) is advantageous.
• Analytical mindset, structured approach, and interest in automation tools and data-driven insights.
• Collaborative and proactive attitude.
