Welcome

If you're someone who inspires others, owns their impact and wants to elevate what they do, you'll fit right in.

Until July 1, our business was part of BASF. As part of the current transition, all job listings and the application process are still hosted on the BASF platform and therefore fully presented in BASF branding. Please do not be confused by this: All roles are positions at Surventis, and your application will be submitted to us.

At Surventis, we go beyond the surface - in everything we do. We put customers at the center, think one step ahead, and develop solutions that create real value and lasting partnerships. We inspire each other to think further, take ownership of our work, and constantly push to elevate what's possible. If you bring your full self, challenge the obvious answer, and want to grow with a team that means it - this is your place.

  • Support timely completion of annual statutory audits and other required assurance activities.
  • Assist with review of statutory financial statements and disclosures before management approval.
  • Maintain organized audit documentation and support remediation of audit findings.

Tax Review & KPMG Coordination

  • Coordinate accounting data, reconciliations and supporting documents required by KPMG for tax compliance and filing activities.
  • Review VAT, corporate income tax, withholding tax and other tax deliverables prepared by KPMG for completeness, consistency and reasonableness.
  • Reconcile tax returns and supporting schedules to the general ledger and relevant source data.
  • Review tax-related accounting entries, tax codes and tax provision inputs within the role’s scope.
  • Coordinate clarification and correction of identified differences with KPMG, the BPO provider and internal tax colleagues.
  • Track tax filing calendars, information requests, open issues and agreed actions.
  • Support tax audits, tax inspections and authority inquiries by coordinating documents and internal responses.
  • Escalate unusual transactions, uncertain tax treatments and material risks for technical assessment and management decision.
  • Support implementation of tax recommendations and agreed compliance-control improvements.

Treasury & Banking Coordination

  • Support cash-flow reporting, cash visibility and local liquidity information requirements.
  • Coordinate routine banking documents and local treasury administration.

  • Ensure local statutory, tax and documentation requirements are communicated to process teams.
  • Coordinate resolution of accounting exceptions, reconciliation issues and recurring service problems.
  • Monitor open items and support timely escalation when service quality or compliance requirements are at risk.
  • Support process standardization, clear retained-organization interfaces and continuous improvement.

Internal Controls & Local Compliance

  • Execute and monitor finance controls within the assigned scope.
  • Maintain evidence and supporting documentation for key controls and compliance reviews.
  • Support internal audit, external audit and compliance-testing requests.
  • Track control deficiencies and support implementation of remediation actions.
  • Maintain relevant local compliance calendars and ensure assigned deliverables are completed on time.
  • Support implementation of accounting policies, approval requirements and finance procedures.

  • Participate in finance transformation, process migration and system-improvement initiatives.
  • Support Day-2 readiness, carve-out, integration and legal-entity restructuring activities.
  • Help document local requirements and ensure they are considered in regional or global process design.
  • Support knowledge transfer and stabilization between local teams, the BPO provider and external providers.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Work closely with the Senior Finance & Accounting Manager and Greater China local finance team.
  • Coordinate with APAC Accounting, regional tax, treasury, controlling and BPO provider teams.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with KPMG, external auditors and other professional service providers.
