We are a leading chemical company, with the best teams developing intelligent solutions for our customers, and for a sustainable future.

We connect and develop people with diverse talents all over the world. For you, this means a variety of ways to progress.

Not only your performance but also your personality matter to us, regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, orientation, and background.  At BASF, careers develop from opportunities .

Welcome

If you're someone who inspires others, owns their impact and wants to elevate what they do, you'll fit right in.

Until July 1, our business was part of BASF. As part of the current transition, all job listings and the application process are still hosted on the BASF platform and therefore fully presented in BASF branding.

Please do not be confused by this: All roles are positions at Surventis, and your application will be submitted to us.

At Surventis, we go beyond the surface - in everything we do. We put customers at the center, think one step ahead, and develop solutions that create real value and lasting partnerships.

We inspire each other to think further, take ownership of our work, and constantly push to elevate what's possible. If you bring your full self, challenge the obvious answer, and want to grow with a team that means it - this is your place.

About The Role

As our Supply Planning & Logistics Management role, you will play a key role in ensuring reliable product supply across Australia and New Zealand. You’ll translate demand forecasts into effective supply plans, optimise inventory and coordinate with suppliers, logistics partners and internal stakeholders to support service levels and profitable business growth.

How You Will Do It

  • Drive and support the Sales & Operations Planning process, working closely with Sales and Marketing on forecasts, targets and monthly demand reviews.
  • Develop and adjust supply plans to maintain service levels while balancing inventory, cost and supply risks.
  • Manage purchase orders and supplier performance to minimise stockouts, supply disruptions and unnecessary air freight.
  • Optimise inventory across ANZ distribution points, including aged, expiring and blocked stock, as well as stock transfers between central and satellite warehouses.
  • Coordinate ANZ import and export activities with customs brokers and third-party logistics providers, ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate shipping documentation.
  • Monitor logistics providers against agreed KPIs and SLAs, manage escalations and contribute to contract, tender and carrier-review activities.
  • Use SAP, MRP and IBP tools to improve planning efficiency, maintain master-data quality and analyse supply-chain KPIs.
  • Identify supply and logistics risks, develop contingency plans and lead corrective, preventive and continuous-improvement initiatives.

What We Look For

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring strong supply planning experience and the ability to turn changing demand into practical supply decisions. You’ll be comfortable working across SAP, inventory, suppliers and logistics providers while building productive relationships with commercial and operational stakeholders.

You will:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree or tertiary qualification in logistics, supply chain, international trade, economics, or another relevant/numerate discipline. APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.
  • Have at least 5 years' post-graduate experience in supply chain, logistics, material planning, and/or import/export operations, with strong hands-on experience in supply planning. Chemical industry experience and project management experience preferred.
  • Exposure to SAP systems would be advantageous, but is not essential, provided you are comfortable learning new systems.
  • A positive, proactive and flexible approach, with the willingness to learn new systems and processes.
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills, with confidence working with supply-chain data and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Good communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively with Sales, Marketing, suppliers, logistics partners and other internal teams.
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across a flexible hybrid environment.
