WELCOME TO OUR TEAM

If you're someone who inspires others, owns their impact and wants to elevate what they do, you'll fit right in.

Until July 1, our business was part of BASF. As part of the current transition, all job listings and the application process are still hosted on the BASF platform and therefore fully presented in BASF branding.

Please do not be confused by this: All roles are positions at Surventis, and your application will be submitted to us.

At Surventis, we go beyond the surface - in everything we do. We put customers at the center, think one step ahead, and develop solutions that create real value and lasting partnerships.

We inspire each other to think further, take ownership of our work, and constantly push to elevate what's possible. If you bring your full self, challenge the obvious answer, and want to grow with a team that means it - this is your place.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • You help deliver high-quality web applications that improve BASF Coatings services for internal and external users.
  • You work in an agile, cross-functional DevOps team and support the product lifecycle from concept to go-live, with a strong focus on quality assurance and test automation.
  • You help define risk-based test approaches and design automated testing solutions to ensure applications meet their functional and non-functional quality goals.
  • You build a strong understanding of business processes, user journeys, and application workflows to create meaningful, risk-based test coverage.
  • You collaborate closely with software developers to validate new features, identify defects early, and improve overall testability.
  • You design, build, and maintain automated tests for functional, regression, and integration scenarios, and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines to support reliable quality checks across multiple applications.
  • You use modern QA tools and frameworks, such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Postman, or SOAP UI, to test web applications and APIs.
  • You align closely with product owners, designers, and developers on acceptance criteria, test coverage, and shared quality expectations.
  • You contribute to a reliable automated QA process by reviewing test results, supporting quality gates, and helping development teams identify and resolve issues early in close collaboration with an international QA team.
  • You document test approaches, test cases, and quality results in a structured way to support transparency, maintainability, and continuous improvement.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • 3+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance, software testing, or quality engineering in an IT environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable qualification gained through practical experience.
  • Experience creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, test reports, and structured testing documentation.
  • Experience identifying, documenting, and validating defects, as well as testing web applications and APIs; exposure to cloud-based environments is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one automated testing framework such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Cucumber/Gherkin.
  • Practical experience with common QA tools for API and functional testing, such as Postman or SOAP UI.
  • Practical experience with at least one programming language used for test automation, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
  • Familiarity with service-oriented or microservice-based architectures.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines or interest in working with automated quality checks in delivery pipelines.
  • Experience working across multiple applications or projects and the ability to balance testing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • A structured, analytical, and collaborative way of working, with strong problem-solving and self-organization skills.
  • Strong communication skills in Spanish and English, both written and spoken, to collaborate effectively across locations and time zones.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban and experience working in agile development teams.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Continuous training and professional development with our internal vacancies.
  • Safe environment where we promote your health.
  • Restaurant ticket.
  • Competitive economic offer with a base salary plus a variable for good performance.
  • Hybrid model of work and adapt your schedule according to your circumstances.
  • Connect outside the office and practice sports with colleagues through company groups.
  • Flexible remuneration that you can voluntarily allocate to transportation services, training, childcare, etc.
  • Pension plans, life and accident insurance, personal loans and participation in company stock programs.
  • Financial aid for schooling and other measures for families.
