As a Lab Technician, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining refinish color formulas that support our customers and drive business success. Working as part of a global Refinish team, you will collaborate with colleagues across North America, Europe, and Asia to formulate new colors, refine existing formulas, and prepare paint samples for evaluation

As a Lab Technician you will...

• Mix and apply paint samples using both manual and automated robotic application methods.
• Perform laboratory testing activities, maintain test panels, and ensure accurate documentation and sample organization.
• Support the development of color solutions for the global refinish business by following established laboratory procedures and best practices.
• Promote and adhere to all safety, health, and environmental standards within the color laboratory.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including innovation, digitalization, and process optimization projects related to color development.

If you...

• Have a High school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess experience working in a laboratory environment, preferably within coatings, paints, manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• Are comfortable working in a laboratory setting for extended periods and can perform the physical activities associated with the role.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills while also being able to work independently.
• Have basic computer proficiency, including experience with email, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and other standard business applications.
• Can effectively manage changing priorities and meet project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
