WELCOME

If you're someone who inspires others, owns their impact and wants to elevate what they do, you'll fit right in.

Until July 1, our business was part of BASF. As part of the current transition, all job listings and the application process are still hosted on the BASF platform and therefore fully presented in BASF branding.

Please do not be confused by this: All roles are positions at Surventis, and your application will be submitted to us.

At Surventis, we go beyond the surface - in everything we do. We put customers at the center, think one step ahead, and develop solutions that create real value and lasting partnerships.

We inspire each other to think further, take ownership of our work, and constantly push to elevate what's possible. If you bring your full self, challenge the obvious answer, and want to grow with a team that means it - this is your place.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

In our unit Treasury & Credit Relations, you will combine global cash management, FX execution and reliable treasury operations with the opportunity to actively shape and redesign processes and systems. Together with the team, you will further develop the treasury systems landscape and turn ideas for integrated, automated processes into reality. You will play an active role in the transformation and see first-hand how your project work helps create a high-performing Treasury function.

  • In your new role, you will work closely with the Treasury team to maintain a reliable global cash position by consolidating bank balances, intraday data and expected cash flows, managing liquidity and supporting cash pools and approved funding, investment and intercompany transactions.
  • Together with your colleagues, you will support the global execution of internal and external FX hedges and liquidity-related FX transactions, helping to ensure transparent and reliable processing through careful review of limits, pricing and maturities.
  • In close collaboration with Corporate Finance, Risk Controlling and Accounting, you will contribute to in-house banking and cash-pooling processes, integrate operating cash flows into the 13-week forecast and support reconciliations, month-end closing and hedge-accounting documentation.
  • You will contribute to secure and transparent Treasury processes by reviewing confirmations and approved settlement instructions, monitoring payments through to final bank status and working with relevant partners to resolve and document exceptions or settlement issues.
  • You will also help shape our evolving Treasury system landscape and post-carve-out transformation. Working collaboratively with IT, external providers and Finance teams, you will enhance processes and interfaces, support testing and controlled releases, and contribute to automation, knowledge transfer and stable Treasury operations.

WHAT YOU OFFER

  • university degree in Finance, Business Administration, Business Information Systems or a comparable qualification
  • ideally four to seven years of hands-on experience in an international Treasury environment; we also warmly welcome your application if your experience has developed along a different path
  • sound practical knowledge of global cash management, cash pooling and in-house banking as well as FX execution, confirmation, settlement, Treasury reconciliation and month-end close preparation
  • experience with Treasury systems, ERP and bank connectivity, payment and status formats as well as functional testing and releases; very good Excel and Power Query skills, professional fluency in English and confident German language skills
  • a reliable, thoughtful and collaborative way of working, combined with clear and respectful communication with colleagues, banks and external partners and an openness to learning and developing processes together

WHAT WE OFFER

  • We ensure the competitiveness of our non-tariff compensation packages through regular market benchmarking. In addition, our bonus program allows employees to tailor benefits to their individual needs. Company-funded accident and supplementary long-term care insurance, as well as pension-related benefits, provide comprehensive financial security.
  • At our Münster site, employees have access to our on-site fitness center “Freizeit” with an integrated physiotherapy practice, dedicated occupational physicians, the company restaurant “Auszeit” including a café bar, the bilingual company daycare center “LackiKids,” and the holiday program “LackiKids on Tour.”
  • To support both professional and personal growth, we offer a wide range of local and global development and career opportunities.
  • At Surventis, diversity is more than a commitment—it is part of who we are. We are proud of our employee networks, including WomenInCoatings and CultiConnect.
  • A strong feedback culture is firmly embedded in our organization through initiatives such as regular employee surveys and leadership feedback processes.

HOW TO REACH US

  • Laura Bogner (Talent Acquisition), laura.bogner@basf.com, Tel: +49 30 2005-56102 will be happy to answer your questions for this position. You are also welcome to book an online appointment.
