WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
The Commercial Account Manager is responsible for driving profitable growth across the Middle East through business development, channel strategy execution, distributor network expansion, and commercial excellence. The role focuses on strengthening market presence, developing high-performing distribution partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and optimizing go-to-market models to support sustainable growth across the region.
Duties will include the following:
- Drive business development initiatives and execute growth strategies across the Middle East Surface Treatment market
- Develop and implement country-specific channel-to-market strategies to maximize market coverage and growth
- Identify, evaluate, appoint, and develop specialized distributors and channel partners across assigned territories
- Strengthen distributor capabilities and performance to support short-, medium-, and long-term business objectives
- Grow market share by identifying new customers, applications, and business opportunities
- Manage pricing, margins, and customer contracts to achieve revenue and profitability targets
- Conduct market analysis and monitor competitive activities to identify opportunities and support commercial decision-making
- Align customer and distributor requirements with supply chain activities to ensure reliable product availability and service levels
- Act as the commercial interface with regional marketing and segment management teams
- Provide technical and commercial support to distributors and customers to strengthen relationships and drive repeat business
- Support initiatives to optimize inventory levels and reduce customer overdues
- Maintain accurate reporting, sales pipeline information, contract databases, and action plans
WHAT YOU OFFER
- Minimum 5 years of sales and/or business development experience within Surface Treatment, Coatings, Chemicals, or related industrial markets
- Proven experience in developing distribution networks, channel partners, and go-to-market strategies
- Experience within the Middle East market is preferred
- Strong commercial acumen with an entrepreneurial, growth-oriented, and customer-focused mindset
- Demonstrated ability to build strategic relationships, negotiate effectively, and drive business growth
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution capabilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all organizational levels
- Proven ability to work successfully in multicultural and cross-functional environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP and/or Salesforce is advantageous
- Fluent English communication skills; Arabic is highly preferred. Additional language skills such as Hindi, Malay, or German are advantageous.
